Bible Study Question #7

Your Spiritual Survival Kit: Daily Questions
These online questions are posted as an additional resource for the Bible study series Your Spiritual Survival Kit.  They are not required to go through the group study.  Rather, they are here to provide you with food for thought and spiritual reflection.  You are also welcome to post your own answer or reaction to each question as a comment here on this blog.  Just remember to respect the opinions and responses of others.  Blessings!

7. 2 Timothy 3:14-17 says, "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Of the uses of Scripture Paul mentions here (teaching, rebuking, correcting, training in righteousness), which do you need most in your life now?

  1. Daily Scripture reading has been a regular habit in my life for several years. I follow a plan that takes me clear through the Bible in one year. For me it is a guide for life, like the painted lines on a road, that helps keep me lined up with God's will and inspired to move forward towards a creative future.
